Special bets are a special form of long-term bets. They usually also cover long periods of time, but have a specific thematic focus. Example: special bets Borussia Dortmund. System bet
The system bet is a further development of the combination bet. Here, too, the player combines several games so that the odds multiply each other. However, unlike a combination bet, a system bet also allows for wrong predictions. Example:
A player predicts the outcome of four Bundesliga games. His bet is 10 euros.
However, he does not place a €10 combination bet, but instead plays a 3 out of 4 system bet. The result is a total of four bets: Game A, Game B and Game C are guessed correctly. Or: B, C and D are correct. Or: A, B and D. Or: A, C and D. The odds are multiplied with each other for each of these so-called lines.
A wager of €10 becomes a wager of €2.50 per line. The profit is of course lower than with a combined bet of all four games. But the player can also make a mistake once and still not lose his entire bet.
Betting tax
By law, the tax on rates is 5 percent. Thus, each betting provider is obliged to pay tax to the state. Therefore, many bookmakers withhold a 5 percent tax on bets. It is extremely rare that a bookmaker does not claim this amount from a customer, but sometimes it happens.
